HACCP is an acronym based on the initials of the English words of the activity, meaning hazard analysis and critical checkpoints. This is a fairly good manufacturing and distribution hygiene practice based on a food safety risk management system that can either be used as part of a full quality assurance system and its main purpose is prevention.
